Camping & Accommodation

Where do I sleep?
Pitch your own tent in our campsite (usually just a stone’s throw from the centre of the host town) and sleep under the southern stars.
Easy Campese & Speedy Campese
For those who want a little luxury along the way, there's Easy Campese and Speedy Campese. At each campsite, you'll have a roomy tent put up for you and be supplied with a comfy sleeping mat. Easy Campese and Speedy Campese riders also have a dedicated luggage truck.
In 2013 Easy Campese & Speedy Campese tents will be allocated on a first in, first served basis. If you want a tent you need to enter as soon as possible (before 31 May 2013) and select the Easy Campese or Speedy Campese tick box on the online entry form. The Easy Campese option is limited, so make sure you enter early (before May 31) to maximise your chances of getting a tent. Speedy Campese tents are unlimited until Friday 31 May.
Tent options:
Easy Campese ($400/tent): 2.4m long x 2.3m wide x 1. 5m high. We recommend a maximum of 2 adults per tent OR 2 adults and 2 children under 12. You can squeeze more in but remember you need space for your bags. Maximum 85 tents available.
Speedy Campese ($350/tent): 2.35m long x 2.0m wide x 1.0m high. Slightly smaller tent so best suited for 1 or 2 adults. Unlimited tents available until 31 May.
If you want even more luxury book an AllTrails Luxury Package for five star treatment. Or, book your own accommodation along the way (limited motel beds are available in most of the towns along the CQ13 route), refer to the Local Accommodation Options Info Sheet or phone the relevant tourist information centres. Any such arrangements are your own and the event organisers cannot assist further.
AllTrails Luxury Package: Spoil yourself as you cycle with motels, massage & mechanic
Why not spoil yourself as you cycle CQ13? Let AllTrails transfer your luggage daily to a pre-booked motel or B&B accommodation. Relax upon arrival, enjoy afternoon tea and the services of our masseurs or bike mechanic, all part of this luxury package.
The AllTrails bus will take you to and from dinner at the Cycle Queensland campsite, or lash out in style and shout yourself to a meal at the motel or local restaurant. Oh, and don't forget the cyclist-sized breakfast at your motel before you push on the next day.
The camaraderie experienced between riders on the AllTrails package has inspired many to return year after year. For more information, visit the AllTrails Luxury Support & Accommodation info sheet.
