Camping & Accommodation

Where do I sleep?
Pitch your own tent in our campsite (usually just a stone’s throw from the centre of the host town) and sleep under the southern stars.
Easy Campese
For those who want a little luxury along the way, there's Easy Campese. At each campsite, you'll have a roomy tent put up for you and be supplied with a comfy sleeping mat. In 2012 Easy Campese tents will be allocated on a first in, first served basis. If you want a tent you need to enter as soon as possible (before 1 June 2012) and select the Easy Campese tick box on the online entry form.
If there are more bookings than there are tents (and our previous experience shows this is likely), then a waiting list will be created showing the order.
If you want even more luxury book an AllTrails Luxury Support & Accommodation package for five star treatment. Or, book your own accommodation along the way (limited motel beds are available in most of the towns along the CQ12 route), refer to the Local Accommodation Options Info Sheet or phone the relevant tourist information centres. Any such arrangements are your own and the event organisers cannot assist further.
AllTrails Luxury Support & Accommodation: Spoil yourself as you cycle
Why not spoil yourself as you cycle CQ12? Let AllTrails transfer your luggage separately to a pre-booked motel or similar accommodation. 8 night and 3 night packages available as well as a 2 night ‘rest day’ package in Hervey Bay. Relax upon arrival, enjoy afternoon tea and the services of our masseurs or bike mechanic, all part of this support package.
The AllTrails mini-bus will take you to and from dinner at the Cycle Queensland campsite, or lash out in style and shout yourself to a meal at the motel or local restaurant. Oh, and don't forget the best cyclist-sized breakfast at your motel before you push on the next day.
The camaraderie experienced between riders on the AllTrails package has inspired many to return year after year. For more information, visit the AllTrails Luxury Support & Accommodation info sheet.
Go in the draw to win a Rest Day package prize for two people by selecting the AllTrails Luxury Support & Accommodation Information tick box on the online event entry (adult entries only). For prize details see AllTrails Luxury Support & Accommodation info sheet.
Friday Night Camping
There will be an event campsite in Gayndah on Friday 7/9/12 ($20 per head) with showers and toilets only (no food) - option needs to be selected when completing your online event entry. There are several local eating houses where you can get something to eat. Full campsite services will be available from 2pm on Saturday 8/9/12.
