Car Parking in Cairns
The car parking is by special arrangement with property owners. While not ‘secure’ the venue is reasonably safe and will be monitored each day.
Because of the special arrangement the specific details will only be released to people who book and the final details will be confirmed when the Ride Ticket is mailed out. This service must be pre-booked. Anybody who has not pre-booked will not be permitted entry.
Book and pay for the car parking when you enter the event. Cost is $70. We will also require details of your car with the payment: make, model, colour, registration number and state e.g. Victoria, NSW, QLD etc. Trailers count as a second vehicle. A key to the car will need to be left with the group managing the car parking so the car can be moved in event of an emergency.
The Cairns car parking location will be central Cairns. Entry is limited to Sunday 8/09/13 between 5.30am and 7am. Exit is limited to Sunday 15/09/13 between 12.30pm – 2.30pm.
A Charter bus to Mission Beach will depart the Cairns event car park at 7am on Sunday 8/09/13. Charter buses departing the finish site at 11.30am & 12noon on Sunday 15/09/13 (booked separately) will return you to the Cairns car park location.
