Summary of options for you

The best way to Gayndah to fly, catch the train or drive and use connecting services.  Friday 7/9/12 is the best travel day although flights in on Saturday 8/9/11 can work but you may miss the first day’s riding.

Quickest       

For flying we are offering charter bus connections from Brisbane Domestic Airport and also a charter service from Sunshine Coast Airport to Gayndah in addition to existing scheduled services. 

Most flexible

For the drivers drive to Noosa (the finish town) and catch our charter bus connection to Gayndah (makes the journey home afterwards easy). Alternately drive to Gayndah (start town) and park in the event long-term car park.

 

The best ways home from Noosa are to drive or catch our charter buses.  Flying is also an option.  Sunday 16/9/12 afternoon is the travel period for those looking to return home immediately.

Easiest  

       Catch our charter buses to Brisbane, Brisbane Domestic Airport, Hervey Bay (subject to demand),

Sunshine Coast Airport or Gayndah car parking area.

Most flexible 

For the drivers pickup your car left in Noosa pre-event and drive home.

Quickest 

       For flying, Sunshine Coast and Brisbane has an airport with daily commercial services including direct

flights to Sydney and Melbourne.

Other 

       An interstate train, Sunlander and Tilt Train service from Brisbane.
